Marshall Brewer

With over 30 years in intercultural education, Marshall Brewer brings multiple perspectives to i4cl. He has been a presenting member of 12 professional associations of language teachers, including Japan, Korea, Spain, and the United States. He has twice served as vice president of the International Society for Intercultural Education, Training, and Research. From SIT Graduate Institute he holds two degrees, the M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and the Master of International Development Management. Previous to i4cl, he served as executive director for INTERLINK, a global language education provider. He worked in many capacities for World Learning, the nonprofit international education organization, including admissions and program promotion. He designed education programs for international professionals as a contractor for the U.S. State Department. He has worked and traveled in Europe, Central America, the Caribbean, and East Asia. He speaks German and Swedish and has studied French, Spanish, Thai, and Turkish.
