Dr. Karen R. J. White 


Dr. White has more than twenty-five years of business and project management experience with large, complex projects with a focus on information technology. She is the author of Practical Project Management for Agile Nonprofits, among other publications. A natural consultant and teacher, Dr. White has provided management consulting in a number of vertical industries, including the healthcare and insurance industries, as well as US Government agencies, and in all areas of strategic project and organizational change management. Dr. White is well-versed in managing complex initiatives in complex organizational structures, developing and conducting corporate project management training programs, leading systems integration and business change projects, and executing project/business analysis and strategic planning. She has been engaged at the C-level of her clients, advising on such strategic matters as establishing key performance indicators, the integration of lean management principles, and policy establishment. She has led major client engagements in developing and implementing enterprise-wide solutions and has specific expertise in leading complex mission-essential projects requiring various project management approaches, including agile project management. Dr. White’s clients have attributed the saving of millions of dollars across their operations to the successful implementation and adoption of the various project management approaches shared by Dr. White. She currently serves as the Program Director for the MS in Project Management degree at Granite State College.
