i4cl collaborates with clients to create custom professional development experiences for teachers, leaders, and organizations, with clear learning goals and outcomes. Our multidimensional approach to learning assumes that each participant is unique and different and naturally requires different kinds of learning to reach their goals.

Our approach is based on broad understanding of the domains of learning that goes beyond skills and knowledge. Transformative learning happens in the domains of awareness and stance. Our consultants create an environment that supports individual and collective learning by cycling through encounters with direct experience and periods of reflection as participants move toward deeper learning.

We have developed a wide range of training experiences, including intensive learning retreats for the boards of nonprofit organizations; supervision training for national-level teacher supervisors; and courses and workshops on teaching, leadership, workshop design, curriculum development, compassionate communication and evaluation, and other topics.
