As you complete it, think about how the questions connect to your experience and be as honest as you can be, the quiz is done anonymously.

COACHING TASK: This week we will focus on two tasks.
PEER PRACTICE (90 min estimate): After reading, watching the video and taking the quiz on empathy, head into the week with the goal of practicing 2-3 learnings about cultivating empathy with 3-4 different people in your life. Write in your journal about it.
RECRUIT TEACHERS:: This week we ask you to find two teachers to work with you in the following weeks. Remember they must be willing to have coaching conversations with you at least once a week for 30-40 minutes, for the next two months of the course. Make sure you practice the skills you have been reading about in these two weeks as you approach the teachers. Ask yourself:
What listening strategies will I use to engage in effective communication with the teacher?
How can I take into account the different kinds of empathy (affective and cognitive) as I interact with the teachers?
