Chad LaRoche

Chad LaRoche has found multiple venues for providing an impactful package of student-centered, service-oriented teaching and teacher training. Teaching in the Caribbean for the U.S. Peace Corps led him to deepen that professional practice in Korea. Yet even before teaching, he assisted refugees and immigrants to the U.S. with their multiple needs. His experience in live television sharpened the presentation skills he now uses in classrooms, training rooms, online forums. Since completing his MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from SIT Graduate Institute, he has served the learning of Costa Rican English-language teachers with Centro Espiral Maná and has conducted teacher training in the Dominican Republic and South Africa. For the U.S. State Department, he completed a year as an English Language Fellow in Mozambique.
